On the occasion of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, students were engaged to charkha  using ice- cream sticks, match sticks ,cotton thread and paper to sensitize them with the significance and importance of celebrating Gandhi Jayanti .  Teacher shared the significance of charkha and Khadi in Gandhi Ji’s life and its relevance. They even learned that Khadi is a hand –spun and hand woven cloth.
