It’s that time of the year when the spirit of joy and new beginnings take over. With the same enthusiasm, Christmas was celebrated with much merry making and vigor at D.A.V. P.P.S today. The school was adorned with Christmas décor which was a visual delight for all. Ms. VandanaTripathi, Principal, presided over the function prepared by the students. The celebration started with a ‘Christmas craft’ making activity done by the students of Primary section. The tiny tots of kindergarten dressed in pretty red dresses looked adorable and sang melodious songs. The little ones were thrilled to see Santa and danced to the tunes of jingle bells. Sheer joy was visible on the faces of the children when Santa moved around them, danced with them and distributed sweets. The students of class 3-4 presented speeches on the significance of celebrating Christmas day. Children of class 1-2 sang English and Hindi carols wonderfully. The narration of story " Nativity" added a special Spark in the show. The show concluded with a group performance and students oozed out spirit of happiness, festivity and glee. The enjoyment continued as the little ones partied in their classes and enjoyed sumptuous treats
