D.A.V. P.P.S PANCHKULA MARKED CELEBRATIION OF 150^TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF MAHATMA GANDHI

D.A.V. P.P.S,Panchkula marked celebration of 150^th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The school began with a special assembly which laid foundation of a new revolution against single use plastic. The assembly witnessed awareness lectures and demonstrations on single use plastic and their harmful impacts. This was followed by taking an oath on avoidance and ban of use of plastic where the students solemnly kept their hands forward and promised that they would not use single use plastic any more.Students of junior wing also paid homage to Gandhi Jee by singing songs, reading speeches which filled ambience with a feeling of imbibing Gandhian principles. Besides, the school also marked sharamdaan, clean and green drive. The cleanliness of surrounding were taken up by the students, teachers and sub-staff.
