D.A.V. P.P.S, Panchkula celebrates Sports Fiesta-2019

The chilly morning of 16th December, 2019, witnessed D.A.V. P.P.S, Panchkula celebrating Sports Fiesta to mark the commencement of 5th successful session of the school. The event commenced with a welcome note by the school Principal MsVandanaTripathi extending her heartfelt gratitude to Haryana Police Department and the D.A.V. C.M.C. for their constant guidance and support at every nascent step that the school has taken towards education and welfare of the children since inception.

The occasion was graced with the presence of MrsBimla Gupta, wife of ShriGian Chand Gupta- Speaker VidhanSabha- Government of Haryana as Chief Guest. The esteemed guests of the occasion were Sh. Kamal Deep Goyal, D.C.P Panchkula, MrsMadhuBahl, MrsJaskiranHarika- School Manager and principal DAV Public School sector 8 Chandigarh, along with Principals of D.A.V. Schools Tri-City. The inauguration of the Fiesta began with zeal and excitement of March Past followed by a plethora of wonderful cultural performances and races. Students of classes 4 to 9 competed in events including sprints, relays, 3 legged race and lemon race. There were races for mother’s and father’s as well, in which they participated joyfully. Speaking on the occasion ShTarunBhandari, Ex Mayor,Panchkula and a dynamic leader praised the efforts of school Principal MsVandanaTripathi in establishing a good school in the region and the progress it made in 4 years since its inception.The event concluded with the National Anthem.
